Morning tears

I did not know why i was so emotional on Friday morning. I am not a man that so easy to shed a tear but i broke down wehn i was talking to R about the life in Thailand.

All of the sudden, it touched me and my memory lingered to Chin Wee. Yes, Chin Wee was the first pupil that passed away 3 months after senior 3. His life was too short. At times, i felt that the Chinese says, may not be a proof, that when a person changed from bad to good would not live long. Will this also what the Christianity saying the good ones are called to Lord soon.

Chin Wee was a teen went through many changes, from good to bad and from bad to good. Here i would like to urge the youngsters, think twice before you start a family. Wee was in the broken family, though finacially is stable, it does not translate that the emotional is rich too.

Till i was his class teacher.I did not like him either beacuse his record was horrified with all the bad comments. What i could do with this type of pupil in the class. I talked to a few classmates they all gave negative comments only Yih gave a neutral one.

I kept my eyes on him and at the same time, keep my fingers crossed he would not create any problems and we all could pass the time peacefully.

There came the report that he fought with another boy Wong when i was away. Huh, i blew my top certainly. I went to the classroom and all were dead silent. My eyes scanned on the two. They were head down to the desks.

I came out of the room and decided to take a deep breadth before taking actions. i was ceratin that the Discipline Master would come to see me, yes she did. I told her i wished to investigate further before i could take the action and i hoped she would allow me to handle the case. She relectuantly accepted my suggestion.

Could anyone imagine that two 18 years old could fight in the classroom in the day light just with a few words of comments. Annoyed.

I kept silent for the whole day but before the day end i walked into the classroom and decided to open up for these young teens. I asked,

"How old are you all ?"

Dead silence.

" What is life for ?"

....

I got Wee out of the classroom into the teachign staff room and told him to sit on my chair and wait till i came to see him.

I proceeded to investigate why the shameful acts would accur in the final year of their studies. Wong did not response but other commented that Wee was a bad boy.

Wee was transferred from other school, a school has a higher prestige in studies and Wee had a good result despite later he was 'sacked' by the school due to some discipline problems. Therefore he had that feeling he was better than others. On the otherhand, the classmate did nto accept him as they were studying together since 13 years old. that kind of bond was stronger. If Wee could show his humble, the classmates were willing to take him as a family but he acted the other way.

Well, the camps slowly divided as the discussion went on, one camp decided to help Wee to change but the others wanted him to get out of the school.

This is life. caring is always at our utmost front if a person's soul is still unpolluted.

Though few still had strong opinions about Wee, they accepted my suggestion to give Wee a second chance. I got Wee to come into the class to apologise to all the classmates as well as the Discipline Master. Of course Wong should do the same. And the bad record was erased from the book of the Displicine Master.

I disliked my class to be named in the book in the discipline record. But, Wee, did not get out of this too long he was named again when he got a fight with the lower form boy.

Wee knew his charm and using the same charmed to sweet talk me to help me but i refused. he should learn a lesson asa young man. He should know if he broke the rules, he should pay for the acts.

"If you steal. you will go to the jail. No one is above laws."

I knew he would not able to get an A for his discipline report when left school. Fighting was considered as a violence in that school.

Days went by, Wee did not create problems. In fact he needed someone to listen to him. i found out from the teachers that his works were not good and decided to help Wee to improve his performance. I took the chance and called Wee to my seat and have a long talk. I did not go into the work and his discipline problem but instead talking about his interests, movies, sports etc.

Soon, he fell into my trap and we talked about future of a man in the society.

Day in and day out, i had talks with Wee. We played too, the language board game. i knew he could draw well, and got him to do a boradgame for me.

He had toned down. The final exam was aound the corner. All were busy.

Graduation day came, Wee did not pass the school exam and he could attend the ceremony. I did not tell him and he came on that day. he was shocked and i told him that was the price for him to be left out for the day but not all his life would be the same if he follwed the rules of society.

He left for Singapore for a factory work to earn some pocket money as well as to pass the time before he went for the tertiary studies in September.

i went to China and in spring that year i got an email from Wee's classmate that Wee was rolled into the machine and was killed instantly. The email was attached with a newspaper clipping about Wee's dead in the Republic.

Shocked and anguished and pain. I could not speak a word.

i keep my pains till Friday morning and....

Wee, ah sir wish you all the best in heaven or hell ??? Never be naughty in the place and all of us love you much. Many of your classmates regretted not to listen to you. But what was done cannot be undone.

You are always in our memories. Yih is the one that tells me how many years you have left.

Hug from ah sir.

Oh i am getting married soon

Well, if someone tells you this," I am getting married soon." What will your response ?

For me, it is a mixed feeling. On the happy note, they are trying to put the two heads together. If the heads word well, the neighbour will have a happy time as the sweet smiles will flow from one corner to the next.

However, if it turns ugly and the the two heads go separate ways after the horney moon. The neighbour will have hard time in sleeping. Bricks and shoes will flying in every corners. The cursing of words are draining to drown the world.

According to the report, by 28 of Feb 2006, the world population hits the high of 65 billion people. This fugure may not shock you. will it ? But just think of the employment and food problems, it will make you restless for months.

Fine, it is none of my business. If you have no global concept, it is the 'none of my business' however, if you know how big the earth and the food shortage, then you may have to do more research of it. Till you have sore eyes looking at the monitor screen.

I don't know what to say, but just like to share this notion:

This section contains information on the currently available male and female contraceptive methods. The material includes reference material and training tools such as presentation graphics with trainer notes.

Is the population control a personal basis or a national level ?

Politicians Don't Understand Sex: Mr Condom
South African Press Association (Johannesburg) - August 30, 2002
One of the reasons Aids was such a low priority at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) was possibly that it had to do with sex, and a lot of political leaders did not understand sex, UNAids ambassador Mechai Viravaidya said on Friday.
Viravaidya, nicknamed "Mr Condom" in his home country
Thailand, also said President Thabo Mbeki, not his deputy Jacob Zuma, should be heading South Africa's national Aids council.
Speaking in Johannesburg at the summit, where leaders have been criticised for not putting the pandemic higher on the agenda, he said politicians making decisions on Aids policy should be people who had sex, enjoyed sex and did not deny it existed.
"They are embarrassed by the condom when in fact they should be embarrassed by Nike (running shoes) because there's more rubber in Nike.
"We've got to face the facts that unless we teach people about sexuality, proper understanding, and the only lifeaver we have is the condom, then you can't get very far.
"So at least leaders probably have to start using condoms and understanding it (sex) better."
Viravaidya, who has served in the Thai cabinet, and has played a major role in his country's innovative anti-Aids programmes, said there were also many leaders who simply did not deserve to be leaders.
"So if we get rid of them and work harder we might have (success) at the next summit... Stop this denial: we are allowing so many people to die unnecessarily."
He also said every country needed its prime minister or president to head its national Aids co-ordinating body "because it's a bigger fight than any of us have ever fought".
This had happened in every country that had made a difference in the battle against the disease, including his own.
"I call on all leaders who wish... to be remembered as leaders to chair their national Aids committee."
Aids was "total war", and could not be beaten by any one department or ministry.
"And so you have to have everyone involved. Health is important, but on the prevention side, the economic side you need other ministries.
"And the only person who can order different ministries around is the prime minister. So he or she, or president, needs to chair the Aids issue."
Asked about South Africa, where Zuma chairs the low-profile National Aids Council, Viravaidya said: "Well, maybe ask the president to sit in on it, and let him become chair: he'll probably enjoy more and do more good."
UNAids director Peter Piot said he was disappointed that the issue of fighting Aids as a central part of promoting sustainable development was not getting more attention at the summit.
"It was certainly there in the initial text, but it got watered down," he said. Addressing a plenary on Friday morning, he said Aids was the shadow that hung over all the summit's deliberations.
"If we continue to allow Aids to drain human resources at an increasing rate, sustainable development will be impossible. Quite simply, if you don't survive, you cannot develop."
This crisis would not only significantly undermine progress towards sustainable development, but would even "underdevelop" some of the worst affected countries.
By the most basic measure of development -- life expectancy -- Aids had already erased 50 years of progress in the worst-affected countries.

Well, I admire Mr Mechai Viravaidya's hardwork to reduced the population of Thailand by using the simple method.

Mr. Condom' Takes On an Old Foe

Los Angeles Times August 1, 2004 Thomas H. Maugh II Thai Sen. Mechai Viravaidya, who headed Thailand's aggressive condom promotion campaign, is back in public life following a three-year retirement. Mechai's condom campaign is credited with sharply reducing HIV among sex workers. The government also started producing AIDS drugs and stepped up efforts to prevent vertical transmission. As a result, new infections plummeted from 143,000 in 1991 to 19,000 in 2003. But indifference and ignorance may now eclipse that achievement. "The new generation hasn't heard much about HIV," said Mechai, 63, who earned the nickname "Mr. Condom." "They think it is gone… I thought I had done my job and I became an ordinary citizen, but nobody continued the momentum as strong as I had hoped." Government HIV/AIDS spending fell from $82 million in 1997 to $25 million last year. Now Thailand's epidemic has matured, spreading to more diverse groups and making detection and prevention more difficult, according to a recent UN Development Program (UNDP) report. Among its finding: *Just 20 percent of sexually active Thai youths are using condoms consistently, and half of new infections occur among young men and their wives or girlfriends, the report said. *Only 15 percent of gay men use condoms consistently, and up to 17 percent of men who have sex with men are HIV-positive. In the mid-1990s, 4 percent were infected. *HIV prevalence has shot up among IV drug users, from 30 percent in 1994 to 50 percent. Treatment and methadone access are limited for IV drug users, and there are no needle-exchange programs. The government's recent drug crackdown is making addicts reluctant to seek treatment, said Paisan Suwannawong of the Thai Drug Users Network. The crackdown, echoes UNDP's report, "could be priming an ideal climate for a more extensive spread of the virus."

fingers

The Chinese sin-sehs like to see the fingers. The western-trained doctors also like to see the fingers. There are many beauticians speacilised in finger colouring and maintaining. Huh, i don't know, but i like to see this picture.

Of course, you can see more at http://uncle.easyjournal.com/entry.aspx?eid=2863677. It is a nice explaination.

Index finger
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

The Index finger
The index finger, pointer finger or forefinger is the second digit of a human hand, located between the thumb and the middle finger. It is usually the most dexterous finger of a hand and is usually used to point to things (a direction, an object etc.), thus it is also called the pointer finger. It is also called the second finger, index, digitus secundus, or digitus II in anatomy. The middle finger was called the index finger in earlier times, since it was usually the longest digit and was therefore used to flip through index cards.

A psychologist at the University of Alberta, Hurd said that it has been known for more than a century that the length of the index finger relative to the ring finger differs between men and women.

Personal Power and Leadership Success , huh, from your fringers, they can tell your future. This is a hand analysis lor.

a bad day

Well, i did not get to use the cyber cafe in the morning because i did not know the high school is already in holidays. The Thailand system is always giving me surprises. Just as i was talking to Ah Hia this evening after my class at 4 pm BKK time. I told him that i shall not extend my contract in Sisaket because i dislike the system. No one can tell me why and how ???

I do not know what my life will be as the weather is getting hotter by days. Last two days, at least there was a cold breeze after the sun set. But, now, there is no more. MY room temperature at 4.30pm bkk time is 32.5 degrees celsius.

I have sore eyes and i don;t know what is going to have the next. Just as i fell down two hours ago when i came out from the bathroom. The floor is so slippery. The Thai family likes to marble or tile, smooth tile the floor. A drop of water will cause you paralysing waist down.

Huh, just now i fell gracefully because when i stepped out of the mate i knew i am going to fall, thus i balance my body weight and a thud , of course a small one and my bum was painful. :((

I did not like to write more , but you can read the morning entry at my old blog. Haha, as usual lor, frustartion and ....

Well, like to keep you info that it is 28th of Feb but not 27 as the webblog company tailored it to the USA time zone.

No one make-up artist

Ok, she said she is the number one make-up artist. Here is the proof ?? Well, anyway, she is on the make-up room all the time when there is a performance. I did not know why even a primary school pupils need detailed make-up.

I don't go for that of course,w hat i am more concerned is the TIME and what a person can do with the limited 24 hours.

Please tell me that how a person can use the time more meaningfully or just doing something which is only appearing for a minute or the extras of the show.
